Janet's Training Center offers the following:

My goal is to be committed to quality horsemanship and care.  Prior to riding the horse, ground work is done.  Ground work will include grooming, bathing, tying, saddling, and round pen work. My focus is to be calm and relaxed to earn the trust and respect of each horse. At the completion of training, most horses will be able to walk, trot, lope, back up, pick up leads, and have developed a good stop. I recommend 60 days for horses that have not been started under saddle. This gives them a good foundation they will need to continue to advance in their training. Each horse differs in their ability to learn and accept the training, therefore, no guarantees are made. 

The initial training will give the horse a good basic start, however; it is recommended that regular practice of the above learned skills is required to maintain the horses abilities.  Further progress of each horse depends upon the abilities of the horse and rider.
